About The Event

This workshop will be experiential, with participants having the opportunity for guided practice of skills. Specific strategies to be covered include deep breathing, muscle relaxation, self-soothing with the senses, guided meditations, and mindfulness practices. Participants will have the opportunity to build a “tool kit” which they can take with them as a means to utilize strategies on their own.

(Note that while this is a workshop for learning and improving stress management strategies, it is not intended to be used as psychological treatment or clinical intervention.)
